Most Floorsofa.co orders reach a US address 4 to 5 business days after you order. The set is prepared and vacuum-packed in 1 to 2 business days, then travels by UPS Express with shipping, import duties, and taxes already paid. The exact estimated delivery date is shown on every product page before you check out.

Weekends do not count as business days. UPS does not deliver on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas; when one of these falls inside your delivery window, the date on the product page already moves by a day and tells you why.
How many boxes will arrive?
A floor sofa has no frame, so it ships compressed in a few large boxes instead of on a freight truck.

Each box has its own tracking number. In a multi-box shipment the boxes travel separately and can arrive on different days, a few hours or a day apart. That is normal, not a lost package. Check each tracking number before contacting us.
Why does the sofa arrive in such small boxes?
The foam pieces are vacuum-packed in a professional facility. Air is pressed out, which shrinks each cushion to a fraction of its size and protects the fabric from dust and moisture on the way. After you cut the plastic open, the foam draws air back in and returns to its full shape within 24 hours. You can sit on it sooner; it just keeps rising for a while.
Is anything charged on delivery?

Do I need to be home for delivery?
Usually not. UPS leaves packages at the door when the driver can do so safely. If you prefer to sign, or your building has a package room, you can manage delivery options from the UPS tracking page with a free UPS My Choice account. The boxes are bulky but light enough for one adult to carry inside.
How far ahead should I order for a date?

What should I do when the boxes arrive?
- Count the boxes against your shipping email: 2 for an L set, 3 for a U set.
- Open the plastic with scissors, pointing the blade away from the fabric.
- Lay each piece flat with space around it so the foam can expand evenly.

Frequently asked questions
Do you ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico?
Message us before ordering with your ZIP code. Transit to these addresses can take longer than to the contiguous states, and we will confirm the timeline in writing.
Can I choose a delivery date?
Not at checkout. If you need the set to arrive after a certain date, for example after you move, message us with your order number as soon as you order, before it ships, and we will tell you what is possible.
One box arrived and the other did not. Is it lost?
Almost always it is a day behind. Each box has its own tracking number; check them all. If a box shows as delivered and is not there, message us the same day.
Is shipping really free?
Yes. UPS Express shipping, US import duties, and taxes are included in the price of every set.
